Lisbon, information about the way to and from the airport

Car:

Coming from the south on the A2, turn off before Lisbon onto the A12/IP1 towards Lisboa Norte/Ponte Vasco da Gama. Cross the Vasco da Gama Bridge and continue on the IP1/E01/E80 towards Lisboa Centro to the Aeroporto Lisboa exit (journey time 15 minutes).

You can take Carris buses, the Aerobus service or the Airport Shuttle Bus (journey time 20 minutes).

Taxi:

There are taxis available round the clock. Journey to the centre takes around 15 minutes.

Hire cars:

There are centrally-located Sixt and Avis rental locations at all Germanwings destinations. Reserve a car here and get great bargains.

Lisbon Airport is only 7km from the city centre and very straightforward to navigate. There are information counters in the arrivals and departures halls.

PLEASE NOTE that due to tightened entry and exit regulations in Portugal with immediate effect, children under the age of 12 travelling alone need written notarised authorisation from the parents for entry and exit.

Parking:

The airport has 3 car parks. Short and long-term spaces are on the right-hand side of the terminal when approaching the airport. The multi-storey car park is near the arrivals hall.
